The 2018 Profitable Musician Summit, hosted by awarding-winning musician, speaker and podcaster Bree Noble, kicks off tomorrow, Tuesday, May 1st.
The event is a virtual music industry summit, and attendance is free. Viewers can stream each day of the Profitable Musician Summit wherever they have access to a reliable internet connection. Running from May 1st to May 10th, each day will feature various speakers specializing in numerous aspects of the music industry, including event booking, digital rights and monetization, video content management, songwriting, recording, and more- even how to take advantage of busking.
Whether you are new to the music industry or an expert professional, all are welcome to sign up for the Profitable Musician Summit. This event is beneficial for every music industry hopeful that wants to further their career. The goal of the event is to teach industry professionals how to create and take advantage of multiple income streams within music and entertainment. With over 40 exclusive interviews taking place over the course of the event, the learning possibilities are endless.
Event host Bree Noble took a leap of faith when she quit her job as a Director of Finance years ago to pursue a career in music. Bree had a successful 7-year run as a touring singer/songwriter including 3 album releases, several songwriting and artist awards including Best Female Vocalist at the Inland Empire Music Award (2007) and an opportunity to sing the National Anthem at Dodger Stadium in front of 60,000 people. She is known for founding two successful podcasts, Women of Substance and Female Entrepreneur Musician. Most recently, she was recognized by Forbes an an influential female podcaster in an article titled "The Power of Podcasting to Fight the Patriarchy".
With the Profitable Musician Summit, Noble hopes to give back to the music industry with the invaluable resources the event will offer:
"My goal with this summit is to provide practical, step-by-step advice from experts on specific income streams that musicians can incorporate into their overall career strategy, so they can make a sustainable living from music. These money-generating tactics also offer part-time and hobby musicians many avenues to supplement their income or fund their passion projects."
Of the many goals hoped to be accomplished with Profitable Musician Summit, Noble also wants to highlight women in the industry. From her own experience, Noble has observed virtual summits where women are underrepresented and she plans to make that a thing of the past this May.
