We are excited to share with you the latest music video by Leon + the Fantastic (FFO: The National, Nick Cave) for his single "Grieving Friend of a Superman".  The bold, evocative song is the lead single off his upcoming album Let Me Cool out Friday, May 18th.

The "Grieving Friend of a Superman" music video, starring frontman Leon Rosen, opens up on a lonely astronaut in space, who ventures into a small gallery aboard his ship of paintings that come to life.  The entire video was animated and produced by Japhy Riddle with the assistance of Mary Van Oscan.

When you watch the music video below, you'll see some incredible moments that punctuate Rosen's dynamic, orchestral song as the video's plot thickens - all the more exciting knowing the entire video was animated by just two people.

With Let Me Cool as Rosen's forthcoming release, Rosen is excited about the initiative he took on creating a unique record, and his confidence shines:

Let Me Cool is my brazen response to advice from friends, mentors to tone things down,” he says. “For most of my musical life my folks have told me to choose a genre, choose a side, a mood. ‘Too much!’ they said. ‘Use another singer,’ they said. That’s not what I do…This EP is me saying ‘enough!’ I’m me, this album represents my deal, for whatever that’s worth.”
