Following the release of their acclaimed self-titled EP in 2016, Thunder Club exploded onto the Baltimore music scene after being crowned the winners of their local Battle of the Bands competition. As the Battle of the Bands winners, they went on to perform at Towson University’s spring festival, playing to crowds in their native city. They quickly gained a loyal fan base, with a reputation for electrifying live performances. Thunder Club was then nominated for WTMD Radio’s “Best New Artist”, and had their hit track “Racer” featured on the Charm City Sampler, a compilation of the year’s best Baltimore acts. In addition, they were guests on the popular podcast “Live from the Studio,” where they showcased their youthful spirit and musical chops. Thunder Club has since brought their high-energy show to Lancaster, Pennsylvania where the band was featured in Long’s Park’s Summer Series and the nationally recognized Launch Music Festival.
For those also native to Baltimore, you can catch Thunder Club's EP release show Saturday, July 14th at Metro Gallery with support from Outside Smoke, Taller Tales, and Applefeast. Tickets are available for advance purchase here.
