Movements leave you wanting more with their new album, Feel Something. What an awesome way to wake up to a Friday morning and starting your weekend. For me, at least, this album has been one of the most anticipated album releases to come out this year. After picking up “Outgrown Things” in 2016 I was instantly hooked. Looking forward to what the band could produce as their first full length for months I can tell you fully that they did NOT disappoint. Showing that they have matured musically in their song writing while sticking to their roots.

Feel Something” does exactly that. With using hard punching lyrics, Patrick Miranda, brings you into each song painting a vivid picture for the listeners.  Releasing their first single, Colorblind, it left us tapping our feet and bobbing our heads instantly. Quickly came to the conclusion this album was going to be a banger. It was enough to make me pre-order the vinyl and get three more songs to digitally download before today’s release.

Of those three songs, “Deadly Dull” (one of my favorite songs on the album) sheds light on a family member battling dementia. After hearing this live at Warped Tour (all three times I went) this song really hit the feels. The lyrics that start the chorus off “What’s it like to be erased every time you fall asleep Waking up as a clean slate without a sense of reality” opens your eyes to how real the situations Miranda was trying to convey on the whole record.

1. Full Circle
2. Third Degree
3. Colorblind
4. Daylily
5. Deadly Dull
6. Fever Dream
7. Suffer Through
8. Deep Red

With strong hitting instrumentals & powerful lyricism this album from start to finish is a must listen. Today has some nice weather brewing so get out there while you can, put your windows down and blast this album. You will not be disappointed.
