Earlier this week Australian pop-rock band The Faim stopped by Toronto's Opera House to play a show. The band is currently wrapping up the Ghost of North America Tour in support of Andy Black alongside Kulick. However, you'd be forgiven for mistaking their performance for a headlining set. The band came out rip-roaring onto the stage, getting the crowd involved early on. Their set expertly blended together high energy antics and uptempo songs with a few slower jams, creating a full story with both highs and lows. The band entirely enthralled the audience, having them up off their feet with their hands in the air, truly just having a great time. It's clear that audience interaction and connection is central to their live performance with frontman Josh Raven even jumping into the middle of the crowd to dance with fans. Be sure to catch The Faim the next time they're in your town if you're looking for a good time and even better performance. And don't be surprised if the next time you see them they really are playing a headlining set.
